Get Involved

Chances are that a woman you know has been subjected to domestic violence. You may never find out who she is, but that doesn't mean you can't help her.

Although we at the Cape Cod Center for Women are dedicated to providing quality programs and services to women, men and children who have been abused, we simply cannot do this work alone. You can show your compassion and generosity in any of the following ways:

Make a financial contribution; the shelter is a registered 501(c)(3) and contributions to it may be tax deductible. Click here to donate online today.

  • $25 provides transportation for one day
  • $50 covers breakfast and lunch for one family for a week
  • $100 provides a woman with one month of case management
  • $500 provides a telephone line for 24-hour crisis calls for one year
  • $1,000 pays the shelter's mortgage for one month
  • $5,000 can house a family of 5 for a month

To donate by mail, please send a check made out to the Cape Cod Center for Women to:

In-kind donations, such as gift cards, are a great way to help because we can get the supplies we need as we need them, without worrying about storage considerations. Cards for WalMart, local grocery stores and others are popular choices. Services—plumbing, electrical, maintenance—also are needed and welcome, as are gently used household items.
